This romantic and intimate elopement in Ronda, Malaga will tick of the boxes in your affair inspiration list.
The term “elopement” originally referred to the activity of eloping in order to marry. Many lovers would have to run away together to marry in secret, thus avoiding family disapproval or even arranged marriages with other people.
“Just the two of us!”
How many times have we heard that from someone in a relationship? Basically, those lines could define the principle of intimacy in a couple.
Today, the reasons for having an “elopement” have evolved, in most cases. However, their “Shakespearean” romantic concept remains. To update the concept, the “Busting Elopement Myths” guide gives the following definition:
“An ‘elopement’ is an intentionally small, intimate, meaningful and authentic wedding experience, which is a true reflection of their relationship, and where the focus of the day is really on the two of them.”
The Elopement trend is becoming especially popular these days. For many couples, it is the perfect alternative to all the restrictions that weddings and events are suffering due to the Covid-19 World Health Crisis. Many have already decided on an intimate wedding in 2020, postponing the BIG celebration the following year.
An intimate affair in Malaga
After this brief introduction, I’m excited to show you N+J’s elopement, one of the most special weddings I have photographed in recent years. They, from Sweden, fulfilled their dream of saying “yes, I do!” in the South of Spain, over a trip to always remember.
With the perfect planning of Tucco Weddings, this elopement in Ronda took place at the fantastic Hotel Fuente de la Higuera. Bride and groom spent a few days of absolute relaxation in their facilities and surroundings. The environment could not have been more idyllic. The Ronda mountain range and impressive views of the countryside literally echoed the vows of these two lovebirds.
Flowers could not miss such a celebration. The bride’s bouquet, the groom’s “boutonniere”, the central lane of the wedding table and an impressive arch as an altar were displayed by Pedro Navarro, stylist for the entire wedding.
Everything was so perfect that it looked like something out of an editorial session or styled shoot; but no, here you felt true and genuine love. A day that, undoubtedly, N + J will never forget!
