Plaza de España in Seville at Dawn

Seville, Spain

“Seville has a special color,” says the song. And it is not because it is my city, but if you have ever seen it, surely you can confirm it too!

Marta and Carlos had the first part of their after-wedding session in Cadiz, and you can see it here. However, they did not want to leave the opportunity to have some beautiful photos in the city where both were born, in majestic Seville.

The best time of the day to take pictures in the center of any city is sunrise, and so it is for Seville.. The first rays of sun give an unbeatable light and the spaces are practically deserted.

Plaza de España in Seville was already preparing to receive thousands of tourists who visit it every day. The horse carriages made their first tours and the shopkeepers set up their souvenirs, sweets, drinks and snacks. And many bottles of water to fight the southern heat!

I did a short walk with Marta and Carlos to “warm up engines” in front of the camera.

Then our itinerary continued with Real Alcazar of Seville. At that point, the best friends of the bride, Silvia and Maria, joined the session. Perfectly combined they accompanied the couple through the gardens and the interior of this imposing monument. The Alcazar was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987.

Here are the photos resulted from this photography experience in Seville. I hope you like them as much as I do!
